MORFOLOGI

Assalammu’alaikum warahmatullah wabarakatuh  teman teman.. back again nih sama saya, with the same name and the same person hahah.. but today pembahasan kita beda lagi yaaJ kita akan membahas sedikit dari pembagian linguistic tentang Morfologi ya teman temanJJ

What factors cause the structure of words in groups and meanings of words can change?
can you explain it to me please?

    1. Hii Viraa:)
      1. Linguistic causes. It deals with phonology, morphology, and syntax. For example: once the word sahaya means slave, but now it means me. Then, different from the sentence Ali hit Adi with Ali hit Adi.
      2. Historical causes (historical causes) consist of: (a) object factors such as the origin of the word female from the word female (for animals: hen) then become the word batina then watina (phoneme / b / → phoneme / w /) and become the word the equivalent woman woman
      3. Social factors (social causes). This is associated with the development of the meaning of words in society. For example: the word hordes used to mean people who gathered or a crowd, now means rebels or vandals.
      4. Psychological factors (psychological causes) consist of: (a) emotive factor (emotive factor), for example the word bastard used to be associated with animals that usually bite if we sit in a rattan chair because the animal lives on the sidelines of woven rattan, now the meaning of humans the lazy one whose behavior hurts.
      5. Influence of foreign languages. This happens because the interaction between fellow nations, can not be avoided. Examples of words from Dutch: a share (aandeel), documentation (documentatie), incidents (incident), and others.
      6. Because of the need for new words. This is due to the development of new concepts but there is no symbol but need a new name or word because language is a communication tool

    1. Examples from Syntax and Morphologists
A student is studying in a library
The sentence above consists of one clause consisting of S (students), P (currently studying), and KET (in the library). Each function in the clause consists of units called phrases (students, studying, and in the library).
Discussion about sentences, clauses, phrases, and also talk about the relationship between the sentence above with the previous sentence and continue at the level of discourse that is included in the field of syntax, while reading about words consisting of two morphemes (se and people), Wikipedia ( per and teaching), etc. including the field of morphology.

  13. What is the relationship between morphology and phonology? explain and give an example!

    BalasHapus
    Balasan
    1. phonology is the study of language sounds.
      phonological examples are:
      A. The word pattern that distinguishes / o / and / u / anyway
      b. Said pot that distinguishes / c / and / t / orphanage
      c. Stiff words that distinguish / g / and / d / pedal
      d. Diftong ai namely the beach, relaxing, petai, floor
      e. Diftong au, namely imbau, island, surau, banter
morphology is a branch of language that uses the basic units of language as grammatical units
More about the ins and outs of word-changing form functions, both grammatical functions of semantic functions
      Example morphology:
      A. From the word Walk, walk, walk, walk, travel, travel
      b. Doubt words, doubt, doubt
      c. Said to eat, eat, eat
      d. From the words throwing, throwing, throwing, throwing, throwing, throwing, throwing
      e. Words read, read, read, read, read, read

And there are also those who give morpheme resolution as a unit of value that has meaning. In this dimorphology we will analyze the structure of forms and the classification of words to be interesting and funny.

  33. hi ririn fildasari. this is firs time i visit your blog and i am so glad i can visit it . your discussion is about morphology , can you let me know the different between morphology and morpheme ??

    BalasHapus
    Balasan
    1. Thank you for visiting my blog :) Morphology is a field of linguistics that studies morphemes and their combinations; part of the structure of language that includes words and parts of words namely morphemes.
morpheme is the smallest form that can distinguish meaning. Morpheme is also the smallest grammatical unit that has the meaning and the smallest language unit whose meaning is relatively stable and which cannot be divided into smaller meaningful parts; for example (ter-), (di-), (pencil). so in my opinion like that

      Hapus
  34. morpheme has 2 parts , there are bound morpheme and free morphme right . can you give me the simple explanation about bound morpheme to make me more understand about it ??

    1. this is an example of morpheme.
      1. Free form morphemes
Forms that can be used specifically in sentences. Example: you, me, where, etc.
      2. Semi-free form
A free morph which has been in the form of words that still need syntax. Forms such as and, but, so that, for, are excluded, thus, compilation, although, for the sake of, because, however, are free morphemes because they are morphological because they are words supported syntactically.
      3. Morpheme is approved
Morpheme which cannot stand alone and has no meaning. The meaning of morpheme is approved only after morpheme is approved with other morphemes. The morpheme can successfully be edited into:
      A. Prefix (prefix): mem, bert, ter-, di-, kem, per-, per-, se
      b. Infixes (insertions): -em, -el, er-
      c. Suffix (suffix): -an, -i, -kan, his, -man, -wati, -wan, -nda
      d. Confixes (combined): an +, an +, an +, an +, a + right
      4. Unique shape morpheme
Morphemes which can only be combined with certain shapes. Example: old with old, young with young, etc.

    BalasHapus
    Balasan
    1. OK, in my opinion,
morphology and syntax are two Linguistic studies which have close links with each other. According to Booij (2005: 185) in terms of issues
      demarcation (fixing something's boundary),
morphology about word structure, and syntax related to sentence structure. In other words, morphology will study the morphemes and shaping it, while syntax will study discourse, clauses, sentences, phrases. In other words morphology has the smallest constituent that is the largest morpheme and constituent of the word, while syntax has the maximum constituent of the word and the largest constituent of discourse

      Hapus
  44. hi ririn πŸ’– this is my first time visiting your blog, after I read your blog πŸ€” why do you use Indonesian? isn't it better to use English? because you're an English student right? even though you only need to copy paste it on google translate πŸ™ŠπŸ˜… or google translate are you having problems or are you just lazy to make it into English πŸ™ŠπŸ˜…

    BalasHapus
  45. oh yes in your explanation there is explained that morphology has a relationship with lexicology right, so what are the similarities between the two if he really has a relationship? I hope you want to answer my question yes Ririn πŸ‘€πŸ‘Œ I'm waiting for your answer πŸ‘Œ As soon as possible I wait for your answer heheh because I don't like to wait long πŸ‘€

    BalasHapus
  46. so ririn, I want to suggest to you in the future you can use English in every explanation of your blog, because it can show your identity as an English student πŸ‘Œ and also in that way you can also learn from vocabulary that you don't know yet πŸ‘€ I don't think using English makes a loss even if you only use google translate πŸ‘ŒπŸ˜Š because it also includes the process of our learning too right, so I hope you will accept my advice πŸ‘ŒπŸ˜Š

    BalasHapus
    Balasan
    1. Okay refi. in my opinion, lexicology is studying the meaning of words contained in words, or commonly called lexical meaning (lexical meaning). The lexical meaning and use of words in language are discussed in lexicology.
      For example:
      (1) The word weapon means 'the instrument used to fight or fight.'
      (2) The word armed means ‘using weapons’, ‘berleng, and the morphology learns the meaning of the word that arises as a result of grammatical events, commonly called grammatical meaning. in my opinion so :))
though waiting too long is not good. but sorry, I reply too long hahah

      Hapus
  47. Hello RirinπŸ‘‹ can I give an opinion about your blog ?. Ah I guess, I can. Hehe 😁. Btw in my opinion your blog is quite interesting, but the color of your template is too dark in my opinion. If you give a slightly bright color, I think it will be very interesting 😊

    BalasHapus
  48. Ririn, I want to ask one thing. From your explanation above you have explained about root and base right ?. Yes I know base or root which is the origin of the word, as you say. But I'm still confused about those two things. Can you explain what includes root and base ?. Or is it the same thing? πŸ€”

    BalasHapus
    Balasan
    1. Okay desi, thanks for visiting my blog :)
in my opinion, ROOT Is the original form of the word without any affix. example
      likes, dislikes, dislikes = likes
Explanation: likes are the root of likes, dislikes and dislikes
      means root.
      BASIC
All root and stem are bases but not all bases can be root and stem. example
      unfriendly = friend / friendly / unfriendly
explanation: the base is bus friend, friendly or unfriend. so I think root and base cannot be said to be the same

      Hapus
    2. I see, okay, Ririn, now that I understand root and base, they're not the same thing. Thank you for giving a very detailed and easy to understand explanation. Keep writing and make interesting and useful posts. I will often visit your blog and look forward to your latest posts 😊

    BalasHapus

    1. Hai bg theo. Morpheme cannot be divided into even smaller forms of language, which can or cannot stand alone. In English grammar, Morphem works to differentiate plural words (plural), past words (past), and so on. has a philosophical meaning.

    2. In my opinion the morphology section is quite interesting. because Here we will also discuss Morpheme, where morpheme is also part of linguistics. And there are also those who give morpheme resolution as a unit of value that has meaning. In this dimorphology we will analyze the structure of forms and the classification of words to be interesting and funny.
